What I really loved about you is that you looked at me before you sang and it was really strong……you have the power and the energy…..and the potential.”

Sibylle Polster, Freelance Opera Director (Previously Komische Oper Berlin) March 2013

You were doing beautiful vocal things without “doing” them. There is a naturalness to your vocal production which a lot of people do not have. There is a youthful quality….you mean what you sing.

“The Sarah Whitteron Opera recital was held on July 22 and 23rd 2011 at the Cootamundra Arts Centre. After the highly successful staging of Co-Opera ‘s marriage of Figaro, held in early March, great interest was shown by the audience wanting to enjoy such quality operatic singing again and thanks to this local singing talent Sarah Whitteron delivered. Sarah definitely impressed with her charming stage presence and expressive acting talents. In the aria from Bellini’s La Sonammbula, she demonstrated shimmering top notes along with excellent trills and coloratura. Assisted by pianist Mark Johnson they presented an evening of beautiful operatic and classical favourites.”

Sarah also shared her original pieces in Cootamundra for the time at this event with the help of talented local guitarist, 16 yr.old Andy read and 14 year old drummer Georgia Smith.
