This was a collaboration with Germany’s top improvisers and four extremely accomplished vocal improvisers. I was invited to tour Europe with the ensemble but had to decline due to visa restrictions. This record has received positive feedback from the industry and been published on the distinguished Traumton label.

Operavisation with Sprowell (Melbourne) and Sarah’s Berlin Quartet (Berlin)
Sprowell is a four piece urban folk band based in Melbourne. The band is comprised of electric guitarist Peter Clancy, Cam Prestepino on Electric Bass, Dan Richardson on drums and Sarah Sprowell Whitteron on vocals and acoustic guitar. Rehearsing and gigging in Melbourne since November 2010 Sprowell bring the writings and operavisation of Sarah Sprowell Whitteron to life. It’s like Katie Noonan meets Janis Joplin meets Diamanda Galas. Supported by beautifully doting musicians this siren singer lets rip and will take you on an intense emotional ride. This quartet also recently recorded their first self funded EP with Producer Myles Mumford.
Whilst conducting a research trip in Berlin Germany in 2012 and 2013 Sarah didn’t have too much trouble finding some of the best improvisers in Berlin to join her in a new quartet. This ensemble employs her compositions in Sprowell as starting points for free improvisations and features Andreas Willers on Electric Guitar, Els Vanderweyer on Vibraphone and Klaus Kurvers on Double Bass.

After studying in Melbourne with Alison Far-Handley from 2011-2012.
